We organised an event in Penrith a while back with 2 owners of very different galleries to discuss what they're looking for with portfolios - it was an informal discussion with questions and was was really insightful...
So do you have any burning desires to hear / talk to particular people this year?
Are there artists that you would like to meet and learn from? Or marketing experts / gallery owners / etc. that we can invite to talk?
Suggestions welcome here... and we'll see what we can do...

Wayne Hemmingways always good for a laugh
and very insiteful into the climate politically and economically, Amy Sales of Emerged and Glasgow Sculpture Studio's is also brilliant,cuts straight to the point and balences curatorial practise with business, Miranda Whall as an artist is interesting,and having done a Grizedale residency some years ago and since being a visting Artist at CIA has an interesting view point (the things she's done with Jeremy Fisher...)
