The Network works alongside local organisations to help develop the arts in Cumbria, including: Cumbria County Council, the Local Arts Development Agencies, The University of Cumbria, Cumbria Cultural Skills Partnership, folly, fold, Lancashire Art Network, Creative Partnerships, Cumbria Art in Education, Matrix Arts, Grizedale Arts, Lowood Arts, the Centre for Landscape and Environmental Art Research, the Cultural Forum, artists studios and groups.

The Network also works with other UK organisations, agencies and artists networks through events and collaborations, including: The Artists Information Company, NAN – networking artists networks, Area10 (London), Ground Up (Ireland), Stroud Valley Artspace, Plaited Fog (Preston), and artist collectives in Lancashire, Morecambe, Clitheroe, Teesdale, Dumfries and Galloway, East Yorkshire, Northumberland, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
