How did the camp go?
The weather spoilt the rally big time! Our display tent is a deffo write of along with loads of other folks tents, gazeebo's, etc.. We were offered a new stand inside the big craft tent.. We moved our display there, only to find that had to be condemed the craft tent structure,classed un-safe for the public, by the inspectors/fiest responders and organizers.. So everyting was packed up again... I had three woodcarvings damaged through the weather... No worries it's only wood... it grows on tree's I re-paired them now so no bother at all!
The raffle of the Teddies will carry on at The First Responders fund raising event this weekend.
it was wet!
it was really good however - didn't rain Friday night and the celebrations were brilliant, including music and some amazing poetry and performance. lovely crowd of people!
dreadful to hear about your tent etc. what a nightmare.
it's sunny now of course!
