Biography
I have been a photographer since the day I realised I was rubbish at drawing. This coincided with the period that punk clashed with pop; long hair, six-inch heels and tank-tops were a good look and you had to get off your arse to turn the telly over.
In the intervening years I have changed from a newspaper photographer, to a photographer in the RAF to a freelance location photographer working for clients on commissions all over the world.
My practice today embraces three main strands; undertaking commissions, working on self-set art projects and working with schools, colleges, community groups and authorities on art projects.
And I am also fortunate to be able to spend up to four months of each year leading treks to wild and woolly part of the planet.
Life, by and large, is good.
