Biography

Hi, I am Mark,

I am a writer, artist and photographer based near Cockermouth, Cumbria. I have recently become freelance after leaving the corporate rat-race...(GULP!)

About my Work:

Artwork

I work mainly in acrylics and occasionally oils - but have recently discovered the joy of pastels.

Photography

I enjoy taking pictures of landscapes, though I am now expanding my portfolio to include portraits, wildlife, macro and reportage shots. I shoot using a Canon Digital SLR.

Writing

I am the author of 'How to Run a Successful Pub' and am now working on my second book, on advice for walkers, due to be published in 2009. My articles have appeared in various monthly magazines.
