JAC SCOTT
Role: Member
Biography
Jac Scott creates open ended messages in physical translations of universal issues. Concept led mixed-media sculpture evolves from multi-disciplinary research and a flexible approach to materials. Practice is underpinned by an environmental conscience coupled with social or political commentary. Discourse embraces aspects of the way we live today with particular focus on consumption and waste. The work is often multi-sensory triggering contradictory feelings of attraction and repulsion whilst employing communication tools such as wit and humour to connect subject matter and audience.
