Biography

Bank_Gallery_ is an independant artist-run space, located just above the Griffin pub on the corner of Botchergate near the train station in Carlisle.

Given the layout of the space, as much or as little as you want can be used for an exhibition. At this point we have had 19 exhibitions since we started three years ago, and we have recently revamped the proposal system for upcoming shows. The gallery doesn't charge for the space, however four bottles of wine must be bought from the bar downstairs for the opening (roughly £11). Studio space can be arranged if necessary for the time before an exhibition.

The managing members are Adam Fine, Gary Millichip, Helen Tuck, and Katherine Tuck.
