Because the only people who turned up were those about to travel to Berlin we spent the morning huddled over maps of Mitte and Marzahn discussing luggage weight, travel towels and other practical things.

We have been getting a really good response from artists in Berlin and have enough good links to make for a busy time whilst there and still the email replies are coming in.

We have been able to use the ACE funding to set up a purpose built website as a direct link for international artists to contact us and one we can use to promote the project abroad - www.hub-international.co.uk. Its still developing and Bryan has been working hard on it.

More on Berlin elsewhere and later but we do need to say that the Hub is always going to be more than this project and there are other ideas on the burner and there will still be international opportunities that will come from this trip and the touring exhibition that will follow, so don't be shy, come along and participate. We haven't fixed the date of the next Hub yet. It will be later in May and will be advertised via the network so keep an eye out.
