A day filled with tips and tricks for those of you who love our local coastline!. In the morning, Kate will demonstrate and show you easy ways to improve your recording skills when working outdoors.
We will have a quick break for tea, fresh coffee, and biscuits before we take a quick 5-10 min walk to the local coastline.
The morning will essentially be spent drawing and sketching for short periods of time outdoors-with possible longer periods back at the hall in the case of bad weather.
Lunch- back at the hall- can be provided consisting of a warming homemade soup , bread and fruit(£3.50)
In the afternoon Kate will give a demonstration working in watercolours with particular reference to water,skies and rocks etc
We will then apply these techniques on location once more.

Depending on the weather, times and activities may change-however-the hall is booked all day and we can return at any time should we need too.
If the weather proves too cold/wet the day will be spent essentially learning the same skills but from photographs which Kate can provide or please bring your own favourite photos of local coastline and estuary-
N.B.The choosen locations are approx 10-15mins walk away and
students must be able to walk with their painting kit .Please bring your own materials however materials are available for a small charge if you’re missing anything vital!
