NOISE Festival Launches branded projects for young creatives

NOISE 2008, the international showcase of young creative talent, has launched a series of projects on conjunction with leading creative companies.

In addition to the nation-wide NOISE open call for original artworks, NOISE 2008 has launched a series of projects aimed at offering schools, universities, community groups, young offenders teams and arts organisations the opportunity for their young participants to work on credibly branded projects that lead to real opportunities.

NOISE works together with Community Arts groups and organisations to introduce high profile branded projects to the young people they work with. NOISE is an umbrella organisation, providing community groups with outcomes for these young people via NOISE media partners and creative companies.

Please see www.NOISEfestival.com/projects for the latest NOISE 2008 projects including ‘Guerrilla Reportage’ in conjunction with the BBC and a design competition with Peter Saville, Computer Arts Magazine and Adobe. Design competition. Visit www.NOISEfestival.com/projects to down the briefs,complete with teaching notes and activities for the young people you work with. NOISE 2006 projects included working with TATE, BBC, Channel 4, Adobe and Yamaha.

Young artists can submit one entry to each NOISE 2008 project and upload up to six original pieces of artwork to NOISEfestival.com until 1st September 2008. NOISE Curators, a panel of acclaimed industry professionals including Badly Drawn Boy for music; Zaha Hadid for Architecture; Tom Dixon (Habitat) for Product Design; Norman Rosenthal (of the Royal Academy of Art) for Fine Art and James Sommerville (of Attik design) for Graphics, New Media and Advertising will select the best work to showcase on the NOISE website and endorse throughout the media.
