One of a series of pieces examining football's place within the leisure industry and the influence of design and corporate investment on the way the game is presented to its new audience. Made up of pieces found in skips around Barrow Island, South Cumbria.

Can I just say how good
Can I just say how good these pieces are John? For me the photographs work better than the actual structures that were on display at ArtGene last year. There's something about the clinical nature of the pictures that is lost when you can work out exactly what it is you're seeing. I suppose the thing about the pictures is that you do a double take when you recognise something.
