You are invited to a community barbecue and concert at the Cylinders estate (opposite the Langdale Hotel entrance), to celebrate the 60th anniversary and birthday of the artist Kurt Schwitters in Langdale.

7.30pm, Friday 20th June, at the Merz Barn, Cylinders Estate,

Community barbecue and food 7.30 onwards; (bring a bottle, the food is free)

Concert 8.30 pm: Cumbrian folk music music by Carolan Francis and the Lakeland Fiddlers, the Amblesingers lady’s choir from Ambleside, Florian Kaplik our guest German musician/composer will recite Schwitters famous URSONATE sound poem, contributions from other local musicians, and poets.
