Is anyone from west lakes going down to this new event, I am keen to go but would like to share costs and ideas, etc with someone who would like to go too

If you can't find someone to share costs for your trip, don't let it stop you, apply for a twister award to help fund it. All the info is on this website, but basically if you think the event will be interesting from an artist's point of view, you just apply, get approval, enjoy the trip and write a short report with a few pics.
I attended a conference in London recently with the aid of a twister award, well worth applying for. Good luck.
