Everyone is welcome to join the Carlisle arts hub for a drink,tonight at the Howard,Carlisle.Meeting at 7 30.
Its our version of a Christmas party,with less awkwardness relating to the boss (what boss?)and more debauchery...

Sounds Great....I 'd love to meet more artist in this area, but Monday Nights are a no, no for me due to having to be at the Solway Woodcarvers meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays; However I would like to become a member of the HUB.

hello,we'd like to meet you too...
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month generally,but that may change.We are about to change venues so anything could happen.
Watch the hub forum and read our minutes to see where things are up to and for new exhibitions and opportunities,(I'm assuming Wednesdays are bad too,with the carvers)we have a fair few distant members who for various reasons cannot make it to the hub meetings,they are just as much part of the hub as those who can make it to every meeting.
The Hub is an almost buddist group,we believe that everyone is a member of the Carlisle Arts Hub,its just that many people do not realise it yet!

I have both Monday an'
I have both Monday an' Wednesday running the group. Tuesday I'm DAD's TAXI taking my lad to baskett ball in Workington.. On saying that the Woodcarvers are doing well, so one night away wouldn't hurt... I got a good committee going an' they're more than able to take charge..

It was nice,not many of us there but a good crowd.
I think we should try the Circle bars space for the next meeting,we should also canvas opinion on the choice of day,possibly find an alternative.For the circle bar we want a nice quiet day,one where the drunks arn't all out in force.
Ideas anyone?

i like the circle bar suggestion, although im afraid thier coffee will never match up to the source :(
