The next hub meeting will be on Tuesday, trying out the more central venue of the Circle bar,lowther arcade. At an earlier time of 7pm.
Can someone who knows about such things, check that there's not a football game or similar on?We are aiming to take over the end of the circle that has the square 'pouf's and the TV screens.
There are at least two fairly urgent things on the agenda and I'm sure lots more open-ended items.
Please add agenda items in the comments bit,Jen or i will collate them and bring printouts to the meeting.

* Hub E-mailing list,the hub list is too big now to send a general mail round to everyone on it,and the lack of a centralised system means people 'drop off' in a unintended way.We need to look into a solution,something like I-connect,which manages mail out lists and costs around $4 a month (yes,that's dollars).This may also help us manage our other asset,our invite mailing list.

*Venue,time place-this is an ongoing conversation aiming to allow as many relevant people as possible to come to hub meetings and join a pro-active Carlisle arts community. This is the first time we've taken a big step and changed the venue-let us know what you think,we have no way of knowing your other commitments and responsibilities.

*Hub Space-.The search for a commercial letting or two (and appropriate business model),that could provide facilities and a public face/gallery for artists and creative industries in Carlisle.

Arts Festival-submission deadline is 23rd of January (I think?) Ben has emailed round the proposal form but we also need to figure out a more all encompassing proposal for Hub involvement...

*The International Artists Book Fair,Leeds-Freerange Artists will be representing a number of artists book works at this two day event,we are looking for more proposals and can facilitate your idea turning into a 'proper book'...

*Update on Matrix Arts March event,and accompanying malarkey...

*Workshops the 1055(?) scheme,a get 'Rich' quick scheme (sorry) to support artists in running workshops.Rich now has a proposal form,chase him with your ideas and fill it in.
