How do I send a private message to someone? (or how come I haven't got any?!)
You can send members private messages by clicking on their profile page.
If that person has edited their profile page (e.g. add images and information about themselves) then you will see a link on the right hand side that says 'send a private message'.
If that person has NOT edited or set up their profile page you will not be able to send a private message - likewise, if you have not set up / edited your own profile page you will not be able to receive private messages either.
Setting up a profile page also allows you to add people to your own 'buddy list'.

Profiles I think that all members should have a full profile..
On all the bike/trike sites that I'm member of it is compulsary to have a full profile... This helps cut down on lurkers.
