The Government is calling on rural businesses to help it understand the effects of the credit crunch on the rural economy. Rural businesses and communities are invited to forward their comments on the impact of the financial market on employment, investment, property, community activity, and economic development activity. They are also invited to comment on how the impact can be reduced. Comments must be forwarded to the Commission for Rural Communities' Rural Economies Team by 15 September.
