Biography

I am employed on a three year contract with Cumbria County Council as Arts Participation Officer. Cumbria County Council has adopted the government target of increasing engagement in the arts(NI 11) as a local tartget in the Local Area Agreement and is keen to encourage a greater awareness of arts opportunities in general and to show how the arts can benefit wider social agendas.

I have spent the last twelve years working as Deputy Director for the Lakeland Arts Trust with particular responsibility for gallery education.

Prior to that I worked in art education(HE), and as a museum assistant and keeper of arts with various organisations and in a freelance capacity.
